We have shared the HPSC’s most recent guidance for childcare settings with a reminder that cases of Covid-19 must be notified to Tusla.
Details of Tusla’s new child protection eLearning briefing Signs of Safety are included as well as hints and tips to help services meet the Early Years Re-registration deadline on 1 November.
FAR training must be completed by 31 October and you can read how to apply for reimbursement. Other resources in this week’s bulletin are Charities Governance Code FAQs and training video from the Charities Regulator and details of Dublin City North CYPSC’s activities and events for World Mental Health Month.
In DCCC news, there are limited places available on our Outdoor Play & Design for School Age Childcare workshop and we are facilitating a Peer Support Network for Sessional Services next week which provides an opportunity to share ideas and build communities of practice with other providers. Our monthly dedicated section for childminders is included.
Finally, there are parent/guardian resources including the updated Parents Section on the AIM website and details of online information sessions “Supporting Your Child’s Positive Mental Health in the Early Years” run by the National Parents Council as part of World Mental Health Month.
