DCCC Weekly Update | 16 September 2021

Good afternoon, in this week’s bulletin, you will find a Department announcement about interview invitations from the University of Derby in relation to the recent AIM survey and PIP announcements about AIM Level 1 LINC Application Process is open to new graduates, scheduled maintenance, a reminder about managing changes for AIM Level 7 and the special circumstances process for CCSP, ECCE and NCS. There is a reminder to services that changes to ECCE Fees Lists must first be approved by DCCC.
We have shared the HPSC’s most recent guidance for childcare settings, child protection resources from the National Child Safeguarding Programme, Charities Governance Code resources from the Charities Regulator and details of Beep Beep Day 2021, the national road safety awareness day for preschool children. There is a reminder about Tusla’s Early Years Re-registration deadline in November and a link to Tusla’s recent webinar about re-registration. DCCC are also running two information sessions on Re-registration next Thursday 23 September, details and how to book are included below. 

We have included details of how to apply for grants and bursaries currently open for applications: the Learner Fund Bursary 2021 and FAR Reimbursement. 

In DCCC news, our upcoming training includes a Covid-19: Health & Safety in the Workplace webinar. We are also hosting two Parents Information webinars this month. Please share with parents/guardians who may be interested in attending:

– Introduction to The Access Inclusion Model (AIM) and Effective Parent Advocacy: 10 Steps to Getting What You Need for your Child
