We are happy to assist all home-based childminders and potential childminders.                   

We offer:

• Support in setting up a childminding service in your own home 
• Support in accessing grants and schemes for childminders:
  • the Childcare Services Tax Relief for childminders,
  • the annual Childminding Development Grant for new and existing childminding services.
• Quality support and advice for individual childminders.
• Access to local support groups for childminders in Dublin City.
• Business support and advice in running a childminding service, including information on government funding schemes for childminders registered with Tusla, such as the National Childcare Scheme.
• Access to training and information sessions for childminders, e.g., Paediatric First Aid, the Business Side of Childminding, etc.
• Information on current legislation and any changes in the law.
• Updates on changes under the National Action Plan for Childminding (2021-2028).
