Business Support
New and existing childcare providers, applying for NCIP funding in Dublin City, can avail of support and advice from their Local Childcare Resource Centre and Business Support Officers working with Dublin City Childcare Committee.
To avail of this support, first contact your Local Childcare Resource Centre. They will work with the DCCC Business Support Officers in assisting applicants in the following ways:
- Providing information and advice on business planning for community and private childcare providers
- Providing consultations for private and community-based childcare providers interested in applying for NCIP funding.
- Assisting in the overall preparation of the funding proposal (as per NCIP guidelines) paying particular attention to the sustainability of the service and referring applicants to relevant support agencies as necessary.
- Providing information and advice on fundraising for community and private childcare providers
- Ensuring the individuals/groups has contact with their Local Childcare Resource Centre during the application process. Local Childcare Resource Centre’s can provide invaluable support and information to aid the application process.
